Samsung recently added a new device to its so called Galaxy series called the Samsung Galaxy SIII. It has got the updated version of the touchwiz interface and many visual tweaks. It is a significant improvement to the old versions. Here at the XDA’s thread you can see all the details. XDA’s Senior member mkalter has made a ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S i9000. The ROM is based on Dhuri1602 SGS2 XXLPH ROM and you can easily overclock your processor upto 1.4 GHz. It uses approx 343MB of the system RAM.
The developer has themed the visual effects in whole of the system. But being in pre-beta stage installing this ROM will make you unable to use some of your phone’s features. You can either use this ROM or wait for a stable & fully functional release. The developer of this ROM ”mkalter” has themed the most commonly used apps in the phone. Here is the list
- Messages
- Camera
- Calculator
- Google talk
- Opera mini
- Gallery
- Settings

- Clock
- Evernote
The functions which you will loose by installing this ROM are

- Microphone will not work in 3rd party applications
- HD video playback will be disabled
